Sioux Falls, SD – Jayden Perron (’05), officially announces his NCAA Division 1 commitment to the University of North Dakota (NCHC).

Perron, who hails from Winnipeg, MB, had an impressive ’20-’21 season with the Sioux Falls POWER 16U team posting 60 points in 37 games and leading a tremendous effort in the POWER program’s first ever quarterfinals birth at the USA Hockey National Tournament.

On December 17, 2020, the 5’9” 160lb skilled righthanded forward became the first player in POWER program history to sign a USHL tender, doing so with the ’20-’21 Clark Cup Champions, the Chicago Steel.

Jayden’s work ethic, focus and dire love of hockey has made an everlasting impact on the culture of our program. Personally, I am thankful for Jayden’s time here in Sioux Falls and know without a doubt he will have the same impact at the University of North Dakota,” said Noëlle Needham, 16U POWER Head Coach.

Jayden Perron joins Dane Montgomery and Hobie Hedquist as the third University of North Dakota commit from the Sioux Falls POWER program.
