18U Roster

The Sioux Falls POWER 18U team is under the direction of head coach Jamison Westaby and assistant coach Jamieson McVicar.

    Jamison Westaby a Sioux Falls native grew up playing AAA and junior hockey. In the summers he would train with Noelle Needham and Legend Hockey. After his playing career he jumped right into coaching this season will be his sixth season coaching and third season with the Power program.

  • A Fargo, North Dakota native, Jamieson McVicar joins Sioux Falls POWER with a proven track record of building winning teams and developing elite players. Over the past six years, Jamieson has coached at nearly every level of the game—from youth hockey to college—bringing unmatched energy, passion, and technical expertise to every role.

    Before joining POWER, Jamieson served as Director of Player Development at STAR Hockey Academy in the CSSHL, where he played a key role in shaping athletes’ skills and mental approach to the game. His commitment to growth and excellence helped numerous players advance to higher levels of competition.

    Earlier in his career, Jamieson was an Assistant Coach for the nationally ranked Ohio University Bobcats (ACHA D1), helping lead the program to back-to-back National Semifinal appearances. During his tenure, he also earned his Master’s Degree in Coaching Education, further enhancing his understanding of player development and coaching science.

    Off the ice, Jamieson is the founder of Flow State Hockey, a Fargo-based development company focused on high-performance training. His player-first approach has helped athletes succeed across AAA, Junior, and College hockey.

    Known for his passionate, energetic, and detail-driven style, Jamieson is dedicated to helping every POWER athlete unlock their full potential—both as players and as people.
