The Sioux Falls POWER 18U team is under the direction of head coach John Draeger and assistant coach Jamison Westaby.

john@perfectworldhockey.comJohn Draeger joined Sioux Falls Power in 2022, following a stint as an assistant coach at Prior Lake High School in Minnesota (2017-2019). His journey began with a playing career at Michigan State (2012-2016), culminating in being drafted to the MN Wild in 2012, after achieving two consecutive National Championships at Shattuck-St. Mary's (2011 & 2012).
John is the owner of Perfect World Hockey Training, a development program that refines the skills of professional and D1 college players. His training methods are innovative and deeply rooted in his research. John earned his Master's in Strength and Conditioning at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, where he explored the transferability of training methods to on-ice performance. This research in Ecological Dynamics underpins his coaching philosophy resulting in remarkable player development.

Jamison Westaby a Sioux Falls native grew up playing AAA and junior hockey. In the summers he would train with Noelle Needham and Legends Hockey. After his playing career he jumped right into coaching this season will be his sixth season coaching and third season with the Power program.
